GUIDANCE TO ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS ON VISITING THE BAY HORSE HOTEL AND RESTAURANT
It is strange times that we are all finding ourselves living in due to Covid-19 but we want you to know that we have been working very hard to make the Bay Horse Hotel and Restaurant as safe an environment as we possibly can so that you can feel reassured that both yourselves and staff can relax and enjoy a part of life as we knew it before. Obviously there will have to be some compromises but we hope that you will assist us in making these transitions.
ALL customers will need to provide their name and contact details either at the time of booking or on the door and will be kept for 2 weeks then destroyed according to data protection.
We request that you do not visit should you be feeling unwell or have a temperature.
As we now have far fewer tables in the bar and restaurant, we will require you to book in advance for lunch and dinner. Bookings will be taken up to 11 am on the day and should we not fill all the tables on these terms, we will offer un-booked tables on a first come, first served basis. Please ensure you arrive in time for your booking to avoid congestion and phone 01229 583972 to let us know you are outside so we can greet you and take you directly to your table. There will be table service only, no standing at the bar. Please leave coats/umbrellas in the car if possible or bring a bag to put them in on arrival which must be kept by your side at all times. By booking with us you are confirming that you are a party of two households and NO more. Parties must be no larger than six at one table. There will be a one way system operating throughout the bar and restaurant. We would suggest wearing a mask if for any reason you are not at your table.
Should you wish to purchase food or drinks to consume on the picnic tables across the car park you will need to queue in the marked bays alongside the building until a member of staff calls you in. Drinks can be ordered from the bar and taken out via the courtyard doors. We will bring food orders across to the tables but PLEASE NOTE, these tables are not the property of The Bay Horse and you are entirely responsible for sanitising your hands. Please bear with us, we will endeavour to keep tables tidy but as we will have far more duties, it may not always be possible to clear these tables, so would be grateful if customers could return used crockery/glasses/cutlery to the table outside the restaurant. If intending on sitting outside then feel free to bring along your own deck chair or camping chair as there is plenty of room!
